Halvors Tradisjonsfisk from Tromsø has been awarded tby the Norwegian Design Board for good design on the Design Day 2009. Label for good design rewards successful use of design to create innovative products and solutions, and is given to companies and designers that through methodical and purposeful cooperation has produced very good designs.
Overall, the Norwegian Design Board received 167 applications for the good design competition this year. This is a new record, and shows the strong distinction has
been.. The awards were handed out Wednesday, 11 March in Oslo during the Design Day.
Halvors Tradisjonsfisk has received the award for the good design of the packaging for its ready to prepare stockfish, klippfisk, lutefisk and boknafisk, which is developed together with Tank Design Tromsø. Bjørn Viggo Ottem, also a member of the MmmmmSeafood team, from Tank Design was in charge of the Halvors packaging design.
